My Husband Wants to Wear Thongs

my husband wants to try thongs

So your husband wants to wear a thong or try one out. What do you do you wonder? The simple answer is you support him and give him encouragement. It’s a societal thing that thongs aren’t for guys and they are feminine. More guys are trying them out and the offering has grown, since I started wearing them about 20 years ago.

Why might he want to try or wear thongs? I’m sure there is some sex appeal component to it. I think most find thongs on women to be sexy, so why not on them. I mean thongs accentuates both sexes butts nicely and even our frontal curves. There is more to thongs than that though. If you have tried or wear thongs then you should know that. If not then maybe you should join him in his thong wearing journey. Probably one of the biggest benefits of thongs that men get over women is support for their manhood. I personally don’t like flopping around and a thong (bikinis too) keep me contained how I like to be. I know the big draw and marketing of thongs is to eliminate visible underwear lines, but that isn’t a draw to me. Could be to guys that wear more form fitting clothes than I do.

I think one of the best things about a thong (really skimpier cuts of underwear in general) is how they make you feel. Who doesn’t want to feel sexy? Yes, men are allowed that feeling too. Pulling on a nice fitting thong can be a mood changer and add a bit more hop to one’s step. That sexy feeling then spills over into giving a confidence boost. I think most of us can use a boost in confidence. They’re a great option for hot days. They are truly comfortable underwear, but not all thongs are created equal. What is good for one person might not be for the other.

Aren’t those some of the reason why you (women) wear thongs? Why can’t your man give them a try and be introduced to a whole new underwear world away from the bulky norm. Give your support to your man, so he can get some support along with a confidence boost. Let’s break underwear stereotypes that guys wear boxers or briefs. Let us enjoy a variety of underwear options like you have. Allow us to express ourselves with our underwear too. Long live thongs and bikinis in drawers of both men and women.

This is actually a great read for any women. Whether it be mother, sister, girlfriend.

Although being a wife, I think it’s great. As most men tend to honest and open with their wife’s.

Would love to see some of the married men share their wife’s opinions. Or more us forward this onto married females.

Not sure how many women follow this blog, but you would hope that they would encourage their other halves to ditch their boring undies and get thonging. Can’t understand why lots of women seem to get freaked out by the thought of guys wearing thongs. You would think they would get turned on by seeing a guy’s butt exposed in all its glory!

My guess is probably none follow. Hopefully though it will be stumbled upon in a search and they’ll find it useful information. Also maybe ask some questions.

I suspect some women get freaked out because of the age-old issue that these styles of underwear are seen as what gays, solely, wear, which as we prove is simply incorrect. And as has been mentioned before, usually you can’t tell what style someone is wearing as the outer clothing easily hides what’s underneath.

That said, I’ll add a post to the forum that shows that, at times, being assumed by a woman to be gay can be an advantage to the heterosexual male.

Hi Don. The last paragraph in your comment reminded me of the time back in the early 1970’s when David Bowie came out as gay, and he said how lots of girls would say “come on David, let me try and turn you?”and he was only too happy to oblige(lol). While there is no doubt he did have sexual relations with other men,the vast majority of his sexual conquests were with women, many of whom have gone on record to testify of his prowess between the sheets. And we also know that he was happily married to the beautiful supermodel Iman until his untimely death a few years ago. So,going back to his revelation,it was probably a publicity stunt,or an admittance of being bi to some degree.
So Don,are you going to tell us all about a time when a woman wrongly assumed you were gay,and you were happy to convince her otherwise?

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but my wife bought my first thong. I was hesitant to wear it at first, but being a bit of an exhibitionist, I tried it at the beach and it was exhilarating. Since then, she and I both try and find the smallest, sexiest thongs or g-strings we can find. My wife loves the looks I get from women AND men. I’ve worn the skimpiest g-strings I could find; even the daring c-string and elastic pouch. Since wearing thongs, I have converted a friend and a coworker; who wear them full-time now. I tend to get stares from other guys in the locker room at the gym; especially when you can see my thong tanline before and after a shower. A few guys have asked about it and even approached me afterward with their wives or girlfriends; trying to get me to convince them it’s okay. Ladies, allow your men to try a thong just once. You will feel so much better!

    Hey DrMarkin

That is so freeing to have your wife to support you and even get your first thong.

May I ask are you on the TBD forum? If so, is your Name the same? Would like to get your input on how to handle the locker room situation.

Just this morning, I wanted to wear a thong. Then I thought about going to gym after work and changing in the locker room. Everyone wear the same styles, just different brands and colors of briefs, boxers and or boxer briefs.

    So hoping we can discuss.

I am now part of the forums! I don’t worry about the locker room anymore. I get a lot of stares, anyway, when they see my thong tan-line isn’t the locker room showers. Just do it a few times and you’ll eventually feel comfortable. I have spotted a couple of other guys with thong tan-lines, but they always wear boxers.

    @SM_Thongguy

Why not just wear the thong at the gym and not worry about what anyone else thinks? Or you can just make sure you wear a long(er) tshirt the first few times to get use to it. Just make sure you always have the shirt on when your pants or shorts are off. Especially since I doubt the reasons for wearing the thong to the gym is to show off but rather because it’s practical and comfortable.

  6. SM_Thongguy says:

I try to do this. Many times I go with a thong on.

It’s mostly on the weekdays when I wear formal work attire. Most of the shirts are are shorter length compared to gym drop shirts. But thanks I think I need to stop making a fuss and just do it.

I discovered thongs fairly early on in my college life and have never looked back. I wear a mix of bikinis and thongs and the latter I wear when I want to feel a bit different underneath my work suit – sexy and daring. They are extremely comfortable yet throughout the day you are reminded that you are wearing a thong and I absolutely agree that they give you a confidence boost. I wish all mean get the chance to try wearing a thong at least once!
