I enjoy reading conversation pieces and participating in them, so I wanted to bring that to my blog. I happened to have been interacting with two other married straight guys at the time and reached out to them. Both Ron and Blkmlthng were all for joining in. I decided to call us the Married Str8 Trio, since it is a good description of us. As I come up with topics and questions we’ll work on these conversation. When did your underwear interest start?
Around the age of 12, I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s when it was almost normal to see the athletes, actor or musician/singer wearing men’s bikini or skimpier in movies, music videos or in mainstream magazines. These men weren’t viewed as gay or feminine and women wanted them and men wanted to be like them.
Favorite underwear style?
Toss up between String Bikini and Thong but String Bikini’s are my favorite underwear of all time for men (currently wearing one now!)

Fit/Anatomical Pouch
One thing that turns you off a pair of underwear?
No Anatomical Pouch or bad fitting underwear
Who influenced your underwear preference?
I knew of men in my family, uncles, cousins etc that wore bikini briefs and string bikinis which was pretty normal underwear to wear during this time period. One of my uncles in particular, was in his early 20’s when I was around 12/13 and stayed with us for short period of time after getting out of the Air Force. During this time we had to share a room until he got his own place and naturally by sharing a space I saw his underwear. This is when I knew bikini briefs and string bikinis were the underwear for me. My uncle was so cool, he was masculine and had lots of different beautiful girlfriends and I wanted to be just like him and wore what he wore. He had different styles and patterns, mostly animal prints like zebra, snake and cheetah. A few years ago this same uncle was moving and I was assisting him with the move and upon picking up a box, it opened slightly and I noticed that it was full of his underwear, on top was a Calvin Klein Men’s Thong in white. It was nice to see that his underwear had evolved to thongs as had mine. I never said anything to him about his influence and probably never will unless the conversation occurs naturally.

Probably was 14 or 15 when it started, but exploded when I got my first pair at 17.

I’d have to say women. The way they look in them drove me to wondering about them for guys. Then seeing they were available for guys in some ads drove me to find out.

Red is always good, but I like prints for something different.

Besides family and when I have spare time, I like to enjoy the outdoors. Could be biking, hiking, skiing, working in the yard, boating.
