Ohio State Parks – Swim Brief and Thong Friendly

Of course some are going to be better than others, but in the end it sounds like there isn’t any nudity laws preventing it. I haven’t had personal experience of wearing a thong or swim brief at any of the parks as of yet, but I’ve visited a couple of them up on Lake Erie for a short bit and hope to break out a swim brief at one of them.
The one with the most recent talk about thonging at is East Harbor State Park, which they talk about a beach north of the official beach that is a great spot. I like the looks of Headlands Beach State Park, since it is a long wide beach. The Ohio State Park website says it is a mile long and largest in the state. When I visited it, it seemed to have a popular area in the middle near the concession stand then both west and east of that area it thinned out. I’m hoping to get out there one of these days and test the beach out away from the main area.
Now two of the most talked about places away from Lake Erie is Alum Creek State Park near Columbus and Caesar Creek State Park near Dayton. Both seems to be a popular thong places from my reading, so would be good for swim briefs too. If you want to check out a Ohio State Park, then I’d check the Huge Thong Board for information or scout out the park and see how things look. Let me know your experience at Ohio State Parks.

I like that Ohio allows thong type swimwear in state parks.Some public swimming pools should have certain days for this.
Sounds like a good idea and a way to differentiate a new public pool opening.
I am still trying to find where in Ohio it states that thongs are legal.
Ohio revised code 2907.09 Public indecency.
(A) No person shall recklessly do any of the following, under circumstances in which the person’s conduct is likely to be viewed by and affront others who are in the person’s physical proximity and who are not members of the person’s household:
(1) Expose the person’s private parts;
No where in that section does it define “private parts.”
Again still looking for an official statement
“A” does leave it pretty vague and up to an individual’s discretion. Though for definitions I’d go with a dictionary and I think Merriam-Webster should be a respectable one. Here’s their definition. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/private%20parts So a thong would cover one’s privates. Guess best bet is to contact a state park you want to visit and ask. You need to get out there this summer and don either a thong or cheeky bikini. You will find it liberating and relaxing along with the ultimate feeling of freedom. It’s so much fun to watch people react when they realize what they have just seen. Now granted I do migrate to less populated areas of the beach and keep to myself unless someone wants a photo opportunity. Once you wear a bikini you will never go back to shorts.
I was just out at Caesar’s Creek yesterday wearing my Joe Snyder Maxi bulge thong yesterday. Right when i made it to the beach, i saw that there was another man just 20 yards away in a g-string. 20 yards to the other side was a family with the mom in a Brazilian cut almost thong. People walking the along the beach… it was a very good experience! I’ll definitely be making that a weekly trip for sure!
Great to hear that there was more than you in a thong at the beach. Also nice to hear a mother wasn’t choosing to cover up like many women seem to do when they have kids. Thanks for sharing and letting us know your experience at Caesar Creek.
Never have been to Caesar’s Creek. How big is the beach? Compared to Alum Creek, only other beach I’ve worn a g-string to. Did it get crowded with the nice weather?
I haven’t been to Alum…LOL! I just moved to Milford.
It was a large beach. It apparently gets very crowded on the weekends, but it is still thong friendly I’m assured. It is also legal to be topless in Ohio State Parks.

Let’s us know your experience there. I still haven’t made it out there. I however have been wearing my swim briefs to the beaches closer to me.
What’s interesting is if you do a google search for Headlands beach state park and click on the photos one of the first pictures that comes up is a guy laying on the beach in a thong. I will for sure give a report. I wish they would have one weekend that would be clothing optional at the state parks. As I’ve found that’s the best way to enjoy the outdoor. I will still go for a skinny dip one I’m in deeper water but it would be so nice to just stroll out of the water back to my spot without having to put my suit back on.
was at Caesar Creek on july 2. wore a slate blue full front thong. arrived around 2pm left after 5pm. very busy place, 2/3 capacity. parking spots available, no waiting, and opening on the sand, especially around the middle. right side (non-boat area) had numerous tents, some together. I was the only man in spandex, but three ladies within visual wearing Brazilian. pleasant experience and even better tan line
I was out at Headlands Beach State Park on July 15 and what a great day it was. The beach is very spacious with plenty of parking. I parked at the far North end, but I would recommend parking a few lots to the South. I arrived early enough that there were not too many people there. So I set up camp on the beach and dropped my shorts and donned my new thong. It was the greatest feeling of being free. If I could have been nude I would have but this was the next best thing. The only issue about being as far north as possible is people tend to migrate there as opposed to further down the beach. Hence my suggestion to park a couple lots down. Despite the people it was ok. No one gave me any grief and kept to themselves. I’m sure I’m on a few camera rolls somewhere, but I don’t mind people taking pictures. I would to post some here if there is a way. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. I was there from 10:30 am to 9 pm. One last tidbit for some reason around 7:30 pm the seagulls begin to fly in circles around the beach for a half hour then they are gone. However if the flock flies over you, just know you have a good chance of getting pooped on. Overall Headlands Beach is great and definitely thong friendly, DNR passed me by a couple times with no issues. Can’t wait to return. Keep on thonging!!!
