Lake George, NY – Swim Brief Friendly
Lake George is a tourist town, but I’d put it as a good swim brief destination. It has several beaches around it, but the main beach is called “Million Dollar Beach.” I read it is called that, because it cost that much to create it.
I actually never went to any of the beaches while there, but did observe several swim briefs in passing. The guys were all actually right outside the fenced in main beach area. There was a good age range of guys wearing them from probably late teens to late forties. Although I didn’t get to hit the beach, I was able to get a couple hours at the motel pool in my black 1″ Solar Speedo. Only one person there when I started, but at least a half dozen when I left. Didn’t notice any negativity towards my swimwear choice or the other Speedo wearers. Sorry no pictures of the beach.
If you like the outdoors, hiking, fishing, boating along with the beach, check out Lake George. There also is shopping, Fort William Henry, boat rides, and other things to do.
From my visit to Lake George, it seems there is a chance you will not be the only one in a swim brief. At the very least it seems to be a swim brief tolerant place.
