Review: AWRY Highlight Brief
Well, I’m not going to pass up a chance to test out a bikini. I had to request AWRY’s Highlight bikini brief. It looked like a pretty decent bikini cut from the photos.
This bikini features a center seamed contour pouch. It’s designed more for pointing down, but can go either way in it if you want. I’ll call it moderate coverage. The back is probably around a 3/4 cut. The back also has a center seam, which includes elastic. The sides measure at about 1 1/4″. The bikini can be washed, but hanging to dry is recommended. The pair is made in China. There is a small black brand label sewn on the left front on this pair. The bikini is made of a blend of 83% polyamide and 17% Spandex.
I said this in my review of the RAW V-String that this fabric choice is great. I love how it fits and clings to the body. It holds the package really well in place, which I love a pouch that doesn’t allow much movement. It’s a pair I could wear for active activities. I also like the concept of elastic in the center seam of the rear to help highlight the backside more. I have a pair from Kiniki with that design and thought it was a great idea. The rear cradles the base of your butt, so you get the sensation your butt is being held.
This bikini is a solid pair in my opinion. I didn’t wear it to play sports but it got a workout with me helping someone move. It stayed in place while lifting and lots of moving around. Kept the boys nice and snug. It felt great wearing them and comfortable through it all.
The highlight bikini I think has a lot going for it. The fabric, the elastic center seamed rear, great fit, solid rear cut, and great support for the package. It’s definitely a winning bikini in my book.

Hi Nate.A definite improvement on previous offerings from this company on looks alone. I like the elastic centre seam in the rear which as you mention does highlight the butt. I think I might still have the one from Kiniki that you have(was it white)? Still too much material for me to consider buying one, but this would be a huge improvement for anyone thinking of switching from boxers or boxer briefs to something a bit more revealing.
No, the ones I have are not white though it is available in white. You might have a skimpier style. It’s their contour brief, which is a fairly full bikini cut. Though their website makes them look way fuller than they are.
