Review: Cut4Men Thong (C4M03) – Renaissance Collection
Cut4Men sent me a pair of their traditional cut thong from their Renaissance collection to try. I’ll still be reviewing it as I bought it like all my past reviews. I picked their neon green option just in case I’m out walking the road in just my thong. Or maybe thonging it at a construction sight. It’s a very bright green.
A lot of the Renaissance collection is made out of the same fabric this pair is made from. It is a blend of 93% polyester and 7% elastane. Personally, I like the fabric blend with it being lightweight, but clingy. This is a pretty traditional cut thong. I did notice that it is slightly constructed differently than a lot of my thongs. Most of my thongs’ tails are connected at the base of the pouch near the sack (front area of the perineum). This pair’s tail is connected near the back area of the perineum. That means the double seamed contour pouch actually goes over the perineum. The sides of the thong measure at about 1“ and the tail width is about 1“. These say they can be cold hand or machine washed on delicate, but recommended to be hung to dry. The thong is made in Turkey, but designed in France. The pair does have a small black tag at the top center of the pouch with the brand name on it. Also Cut4Men is from the creators of Joe Snyder.
Let me start with I think this thong would be an awesome choice for sports and activities you want excellent support for. The fabric they use is right up my alley with what I like my underwear made out of. The thong really clings well to me and has a real nice snug fit. I like snug fitting underwear that isn’t overly smashing the jewels and these are right on par with my liking. I find the tail to be very comfortable for all day wear. Now the thong’s pouch does narrow a decent amount at the base to not give too much fabric between the legs. This makes the base of the pouch just giving me the coverage I need for my sack. It has me all contained, but may not as well for others depending on how much you got down there. Also the direction you like to point yourself in your undies could be a factor with this pair. For me it seems to be fine for pointing down, but I typically prefer up most of the time. The pouch definitely works well for me in the up position. I also want to mention I wear the sides higher on my hips than the model does on their website, so the front and back sit higher on me. Of course it is a personal preference, but I think it gives me a better fitting look than how the model is wearing it.
Overall I’m very happy with how this thong fits and feels. Guess the question for me is is it worth the price of a little over $20? Well, I’m cheap to some extent though I’m known to splurge at times on underwear and swimwear. Now, I might be able to be tempted if the right print appeared, but I’d probably wait for a sale. Then I’d splurge on it for sure. If you’re not cheap like me then if it sounds like a pair for you then give it a try. This is probably my favorite pair of the four that Cut4Men sent me to review.

I’m loving these Cut4men styles, not sure about the colour but they sure look comfortable.
I wish they’d send me some 🤣🤣
I would like to see more color options. They’d send you some if you give them some money!🤑 First time I’ve been approached to work with a brand.
Good for you, all your hard work is paying off
What’s your opinion on this brand? Haven’t seen anything about them prior to your past reviews.
I’m happy with the pairs I received. I personally like the fabric they use on the Renaissance collection. They seem to be well made and all the pair are comfortable. They do cost more than I like to pay for a pair, but I have seen them run sales I would considering purchasing additional pairs during one of those if something caught my eye. Cut4Men is from the creators of Joe Snyder, so they have a history in the industry. They’re not made in China, so have to factor that in some with them being higher than I like to pay for a pair. I would say they are worth a try at least based on the Renaissance collection. I don’t know about their Provocative collection.
Thanks Nate. I now have an image of you trying to hitch a lift on the highway in your luminous green thong, although if you wore it on a construction site you wouldn’t have to wear a hi viz(lol).
I think once postage charges etc are added to the price, it would be uneconomical depending on where in the world you are.
It’s definitely a bright color. It would be quite expensive if not buying several pairs direct from the brand to have them shipped I’m sure. I think it was Mike that said there is an Australian retailer that carries some of their line. Then those in the UK have Deadgoodundies, who carries some of their stuff too. So far not aware of any other retailers in the US or other areas.
Yes, the Aussie mob Dugg have them, check out Dugg.com.au
