Review: MuscleMate UltraFit Camouflage Thong

I decided to give some underwear items off Amazon a try. I’m sure they are probably from some manufacturer on AliExpress. This one was advertised as the brand MuscleMate, but the image shows a different brand on the pair. However the pair I received did not have a brand on it like the image showed. It does have that brand inside on the printed label, which is wearing off after a few wearings. You can check out the pair here, but read my thoughts first.
Here is a quick look at some of the details on it. The fabric of the pair is a blend of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. It says it can be machine washed, but should be hung to dry. The tail of the thong is about 7/8″. Then the sides measure approximately 1 1/8″. Brand on the tag is actually YU AI TIAN SHI.
When I first tried the thong on I thought it was a good fitting thong. I liked the feel of the fabric and how it fit. It offers good support though I think the pouch is made more for downward pointing. At least aesthetically the front would look a little better if filling it in the down position. I normally prefer up most of the time, but the right pair down is fine. This pair isn’t one for the down position for me. The tail of this thong is what is tripping me up. Initially it is very comfortable and actually a majority of the time. The problem is there are times it is on the verge of being bothersome. It seems the later it is in the day the more it happens too. I think sometimes it occurs with how I sit. The back starts pulling up.
I do want to really like this thong. I enjoy the camo print and the feel of the fabric by touch and wearing it. It just isn’t cutting it for all day comfort for me. Adjustments seem to be needed at times. This thong is probably going to be placed in my workout undies container. There resides older pairs of underwear or ones that seem to work for the exercise timeframe over all day wear.

I’ve seen MuscleMate on Amazon a lot, but have never ordered. I’m always confused by what actual brand you’re buying. It’s cheap Asian stuff, so does it really matter?
That said, I do have a couple YU AI TIAN SHI thongs and love them. I think the cut is a little different than the one you tried. If you want, I can dig up the link of what I ordered.
There have been several ones of MuscleMate I considered trying. You are right they’re all Asian. Could be the exact same thing, but branded differently. Most are probably bought off AliExpress that are offered on Amazon. Just quicker to get them from Amazon than AliExpress. If you get a chance and find a link send it my way. Thanks.
Here’s the link. I have them in purple and pink.

Hi! Buying from AlieExpress is like playing in the lottery. You never know what you get. The fabric is mostly different from premium brands. I don’t know why, but they are definitely different. I purchased a lot from Asia and at least 50% of them hit the bin. You can get lucky with a purchase, but it is for me rare. My experience. Of course I have purchased top brands that didn’t fit or some how not was as expected, but the more experienced you get, the better underwear you get. I have favorite top brands that still lasts after 10 years, and sadly one day the will give up. The hook, is the price. Asian thongs are very cheap compared to top brands in Europe, but the top brands last longer. So in the end I still have some Asian favorites in my collection, and I might buy Asian again 🙂 I just spent almost 40$ on a pair of blue Wojoer skimpy and mesh thongs. Very satisfied 🙂
