Review: Male Power Anaconda Bong Thong

Male Power Anaconda Bong ThongYou might be able to guess what drew me to this thong. Not sure why animal prints resonate with me in underwear. I don’t go for them in outerwear. This is what I’ll call the cousin to the satin bong thong I reviewed of theirs some time ago, which I didn’t give any thongs up to. The print was enough to make me want to give this one a try.

This review could pretty much echo the satin one. It’s the same style, but the fabric seems a bit different even though it’s the same fabric blend of 85% nylon and 15% spandex. These seem to be a little lighter and sort of a scratchy fabric. The thong has about 1″ sides and the tail measures about 1 1/8″. They have a partial center seam giving contour at the base of the pouch. The care instructions say hand wash and hang dry. I’ll be sticking to machine washing and hanging them to dry. If I really liked them maybe I’d do the hand washing.

The bong thong does have good support. The tail is a bit tricky to describe. You are going to know you are wearing a thong most of the day. I feel it is more noticeable when sitting down than standing up. I am however able to wear it for a full day. Just sometimes it feels like it is on the verge of becoming irritating.

The thong is one I will only wear occasionally. I think the satin bong thong is slightly more comfortable once adjusted right than this one. It’s not one I would but again or really recommend. This is probably the last Male Power pair I’ll try. I haven’t come across a real winner yet from the brand. The best pair I tried from them and review for Underwear News Briefs was a bamboo fabric thong. It had a branded waistband, which I’m not a fan of and maybe a little bit of a higher rise than I would like. It was a comfortable one. Anyone have a Male Power pair that is worth giving them another chance?

My Rating Overview

Support Rating: 5.0
Overall Comfort: 4.0
Tail Comfort: 3.5
Recommendation: No thongs up

Pros: Good support
Cons: Fabric feels a little scratchy, tail can be bothersome especially sitting.

Animal prints are nostalgia for me. When I was just big enough to shop in the men’s section at Montgomery Wards. We were back-to-school shopping and I picked out a package of animal print briefs.
After we got home, I rushed to open them and try them on. I can still remember there was a zebra pair, a leopard pair and one other. Like cheetah or something.
They were just cheap polyester bikinis but I loved them. MW went out of business shortly after, and I never got more.

I like the print and blue is my favorite color. I went to the male power site and they are sold out of the l/xl. I typically wear a large, xl is to big for me. so for them to only carry two sizes s/m and l/xl concerns me, like they massed produced a product without a lot of concern for the true fit. So for those that have this brand how does the size really compare?

Thanks for bringing up the only two sizes offering. I forgot about that. Guess I’ve had the thong sitting around to review for a while. It does make a pair risky when only offered in 2 sizes or one size fits all. Based on their size I fall into the S/M at the upper end, which is what I did buy. It seems to fit fine in the waist for me.

Irronically I have a few very inexpensive(ali baba) ones that a great! I even wear them in the home gym. Not itchy at all and no rising! Overal a great deal! Of course love my male poer ones. super comfy!

I can see why they are comfy. I only wear a thong to the gym. It gives the boys great support and more freedom of movement than a jock. And I get a lot of compliments from the ladies if they accidently peek out which does happen sometimes.

I too have a soft spot for animal prints. I used to get polyester bikini`s in the late 1980`s from Woolco. (Canadian store gone since the mid 1990`s) They were cheap and comfortable. I had zebra, tiger and leopard prints.

I have two of the Satin bong thongs but haven’t tried any of animal prints . I thought same Nate , you definitely know your wearing a thong . The thong back could be a little narrower then it probably would be ok. Overall I thought the styleok. I do have other male powerstyles that I think are better.
