Review: DomiGe Mesh Print V-String Thong
This one was a bit of an odd choice for me to request from Undies for Men to send me to review. I don’t typically go with the double waistband look or peek-a-boo type pouch, which I’ll touch on those in a little bit. I decided I wanted to try their v-string style and then animal prints are always a draw for me.
The v-string is a mesh fabric made of a blend of 88% nylon and 12% spandex. It has a center seamed contour pouch with a peek-a-boo cut out at the top. There is a brand name label sewn middle front of the waistband. I call this a double waistband with the top one measuring about 9/16″ and the bottom one measuring 5/16″. This is slightly different then other double waistbands in that the bottom one connects to the top one in the rear. The string tail measures about 5/16″. It states to hand wash and hang to dry. They are made in China. The v-string is available in two prints. The leopard print I received and a black and white print. It is available in sizes M to 3XL, which is 25″ to 37″.
This thong has surprised me quite a bit. I actually don’t mind the double waistband. With the lower one attaching at the upper waistband in the rear, it in my eyes gives it I guess a sleeker look. Or maybe I just like that you can make it a more triangular cut out on the sides over a rectangular one. Then the size of the peek-a-boo cut out isn’t overly big. I find it done at a tasteful size. I’m a fan of v-strings over g-strings, because of the triangle fabric at the top. I prefer some fabric at the top of the rear. I feel it accentuates the butt a bit better in my eyes.The pouch offers good support and I find the thong overall comfortable.
For me this v-string thong is a winner. It’s definitely one I will look for in the drawer. It has breathability with the mesh fabric, so it is a good option for warmer weather.
