Review: Intymen INI032 Roma Bikini
When I saw this Intymen Roma bikini, I really wanted to get it. I’m a fan of string bikinis. Also thought the fabric looked like a great option. The price of course held me back, but as soon as I was able to get it at a reduced price I grabbed it. I was right about the fabric, but wrong about the pair.
The fabric of this bikini is a blend of 84% polyamide and 16% elantane. It’s a full back string bikini. The back features a center seam, which I like. I think it helps with some butt definition. The sides measure in at about ¾”. The pouch is designed kind of with an actual pouch that the package goes in. It has elastic around the base to help give some lift to the package. I like the feature on their sports thong. The pouch is center seamed contoured. The bikini is recommended to be hand washed and hung to dry.
I like the fabric of this bikini. It kind of has a bit of a silky feel to it and is soft and clingy. The back is a nice fit and like the center seam design to help define the butt a bit more. Then the waistband covered in the fabric of the body and at a great width is right on to my liking too. Unfortunately it fall short in the pouch department for me. I like the design of the pouch with the elastic that is at the base to give some lift, but the depth is too much for me. There is good support for the sack, but I like the shaft held firmly too. This falls short on that for me, which is a disappointment. I’d probably really like this string bikini if the pouch wasn’t so deep.
If you like deeper pouches or the shaft to hang free these might be a fun option for you. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m not going to do my normal comfort and support rating, since I didn’t wear these. The pouch killed my high hopes and excitement for these. Always a bummer when a pair doesn’t work out.
Ways to Support The Bottom Drawer by Shopping
Such a disappointment when a much anticipated purchase doesn’t live up to expectations. I’m sure all followers of the blog have had similar experiences, so maybe we should have a share the goods feature dedicated to the disasters that lurk in the dark corners of our underwear drawers never to see the light of day? I know I could contribute quite a few(lol).
I’ve not had much luck at all with Intymen, they’ve never fit like I’d want them too, well made for sure, just never found a comfortable pair, so now I just don’t buy that brand.
