Review: Rayv50 V-string with Buckles

rayv50 V-string ThongTime for a review of what I call a v-string. This is a pair from Posher rayv50. Mainly I decided on the pair because it is a style of rayv50 I have not reviewed yet. With g-strings and v-strings you never know how their back strap string is going to work out. So I don’t buy many of them. I do prefer the v-string look on me over a g-string, so decided to give them a try.

This particular pair is made out of a fabric blend of 95% nylon and 5% spandex. The pouch of this thong is a center seamed contour pouch. Both the sides and the tail measure in at about ⅜”. This pair has plastic black buckles on the sides, which measure about ½”. This particular thong can be machined wash cold, but recommended to be hung to dry.

As I stated above, the tail is the concern with this style of thong for me. I’m happy to say the length of the tail seems to fit my body well. I haven’t had any issues with it causing me any discomfort. The pouch is a fairly full design, but it holds the goods well and is roomy. Surprisingly the side clips aren’t bothersome. A few times they were a bit noticeable, but nothing annoying. Overall I’m pretty happy with the performance of this v-string. I did put it through some active days and I had no issues with it.

I could do without the side buckles. For me they are more decorative. I don’t see me functionally using them or very rarely at the most. Maybe some day my wife will surprise me and use them. The thong is well made like all the other pairs I have tried. In general I recommend checking out rayv50’s Poshmark closet. See if you can find something that interests you and give it a try.

Have to say I’m not a fan of clip sided undies. I have several Kiniki tangas and thongs which have plastic clips on either side and they tend to leave an imprint on your skin when you remove them. I feel the same about thongs and bikinis which have chain links instead of elastic on the waistband or under strap. Okay for posing in for a photo opportunity, but not practical or comfortable when worn for any length of time.

I guess the side buckles don’t serve as adjustments to the size?
I have an N2N Mojave string
and if the strings don’t fit just right (they don’t for me) then they’re not really wearable for any amount of time. Which sucks!

No, the side buckles do not allow adjustment. Just quick release.

I would have to agree about the plastic clips and any other forms hard materials on the side of the thongs, and or the bikini bottoms. I stay away from any thongs or bikini bottoms with hard materials on there sides. They look cool but they are not fun after a good days of wearing them. When I had a chance to wear a pair of them, the hard material would dig into my skin and stick into my skin. When you take them off the skin will try to come off with the hard material. Now the v top is cool on the back strap at the top. I think I may have a v top back strap in my collection. Happy thong and bikini bottom hunting.

mrrigid they look very like Cocksox slingshots, I’ve got a few of them and they are soooo comfortable.

I really like the look of these Rayv50 thong / V strings, I love the back part, looks super comfortable. I don’t mind the clips, I’ve got a few from Kiniki, L’homme invisible and Gregg Homme, but you’re right about them sticking in your sides sometimes, still a small price to pay.

I’d say that buckles are purely decorative, and not for adjusting. But they are quite erotic, as they enable quick release, and on occasion who minds being decorative?
