Review: AWRY CLIMAX Briefs
This brief is one AWRY included along with the underwear I requested to give a try. I don’t normally go with as much cover with my undies. Though these are close to the cut of swim briefs I’ve been wearing when family that is more than the wife and kids are along for beach time. Maybe a tad more coverage. In some brick and mortar stores these briefs could be called bikinis, but they aren’t in my book.
These briefs have sides that measure about 3”. They’re full rear coverage. The fabric these are made of is a blend of 95% modal and 5% elastane. The CLIMAX brief has a center seamed contour pouch with the flat seam design. Branding on the brief is a small black label center front of the pair. The pair can be machine washed, but hanging them to dry is recommended. The pair is made in China.
I like that the briefs do not have a brand waistband. The elastic is covered in fabric, which is how I like my undies. This is another great fabric that was chosen to make the CLIMAX brief. It is very comfortable to wear. The pouch gives decent support. It allows the package to wiggle some. I don’t find the pair restrictive in any way, so I feel like I have good movement wearing them.
It’s not my typical underwear style, but it is a solid pair. For a brief, it isn’t too shabby in my opinion. Still won’t become a daily wearer for me, but if it is a style you like then it could be potentially a daily wearer for you! I won’t give these a thong up rating since not my typical underwear style so won’t be a fair rating. If you like the style I say give them a try at least.
Ways to Support The Bottom Drawer by Shopping

While it’s good to hear about new underwear companies springing up, I personally think this one needs to go back to the drawing board on the evidence of this brief and the cheeky thong reviewed some weeks ago. Perhaps they thought calling this the Climax brief would make it sound sexy, but I think Anti Climax better describes this dull offering. Would love to know who their target audience is for these garments.
While I’m open for others to wear what they like, I’m afraid these undies wouldn’t ever come close what I’d consider purchasing or wearing. The colour is fairly off putting to me, the fabric is basically cotton, not my favourite and the cut is just so blah. The whole concept just screams mediocre, sorry not one for me.
I guess I’m the odd man out ha, I personally love these. I have been gravitating to briefs/bikinis and throwing in an occasional thong to liven up my day. My go to’s have been ck but in looking for an alternative I found these after your previous post and have since ordered more pairs. My only gripe with them is the wide sides, I really wish they were like 1/2 the height.
