Review: Virile Thong (VLK001)
I just happen to come across this thong on sale at a great price, so I thought I’d give it a try. It looked like a decent looking basic thong. It’s also a new brand for me and one I hadn’t heard of until stumbling upon the thong.
The Virile thong fabric is a blend of 93% cotton and 7% spandex. My underwear drawer doesn’t have many thongs with a high cotton content like this one. That makes it a good addition to the drawer for some added variety. The washing directions say wash cold and do not machine dry. The pouch is a contoured center seam. Some reviews say it has a roomy pouch, but I’d disagree. It has some stretch with the spandex in it, but I find it a snug fit for the package. It is a good comfortable snug fit for me. It has awesome support and could be worn for things like running or sports. The sides of the thong measures about 1 1/2″ . Then the tail measures about 1 1/4″.
I’ve worn this thong doing a good variety of things and find it to be very comfortable. I’ve lounged, slept, done yard work, hiked, and more in it. It’s performed well throughout it all. It just has the right snugness all around for me. You do know you are wearing a thong while wearing it. I find it extremely comfortable in the rear and have had no issues with having to readjust the tail. Nothing wrong having a reminder you are wearing a sexy thong all day. Only nitpicky issue I have is they use a bulky care instruction tag, which is long and wide so it will peak out the tail. Either you fold it up or have to snip it out. Probably the same tag they use on their bulky undies.
The Virile thong surprisingly turned out to be an excellent addition to my underwear collection. It’ll probably be more of a cooler weather thong or when I’m not planning to get sweaty. Cotton retains sweat longer than a lot of my other thongs. Say if I take a break from doing yard work for a bit, this thong will still feel the same dampness from when I stopped til when I start up again. Other thongs in my drawer usually will dry quicker or in general feel less sweaty. If you want a basic solid color thong then give this one a try.
