Extreme Collection Ring Brief Review
I snagged this bikini brief during a 50% off sale at Undergear in all three colors: black, red, and army. I liked the fabric of the thong version, but wasn’t a fan on the c-ring panel. You can read the thong review here. I figured at 50% off I’d give the brief a try and I could remove the c-ring panel like I did with the thong.
I tried all three on with the c-ring panel and 2 out of the 3 seemed to be an okay fit. The one still seemed too restrictive for me. I tried wearing one of the less restrictive briefs with the c-ring panel, but after about 2 hours I decided the c-ring didn’t do anything for me. and removed it. Since they say the third time is the charm, I decided I’d give the last pair with the c-ring panel a try. It definitely is more comfortable than the first two and I can wear them all day with the c-ring panel.
The bikini brief is made out of a 80% nylon and 20% spandex blend, so the fabric is along the lines of swimsuit material. It’s clingy, which gives great support even with the c-ring panel removed. So I’d say it is good for sports or a working out bikini though it doesn’t seem to breathe real well. Can be a little warm wearing it sometimes. I’d put the bikini in the 3/4 back category and it has 1″ sides. The pouch is pretty much a flat front, but has some stitching at the bottom of it to form a bit of a contour pouch. I machine wash and line dry them.
