Married Str8 Trio Introduction
I’ve always found conversation pieces in other subject matters to be interesting. I have also done some conversation pieces for the Underwear News Briefs Blog, which has fueled my decision to bring some content like that to my blog. I’ve teamed up with two other married straight guys, Ron and Blkmlthng, to start bringing you this type of posts. As we all have time we’ll be working on bringing you, our discussion on different topics. Feel free to let us know topics you’d like us to discussion. We are calling ourselves the Married Str8 Trio, since it gives you the description of us pretty well. Let’s get to our introduction of each of us.
The Bottom Drawer: First let’s do a bit of an introduction with a little about yourself if you like and how you got into your underwear preference. I’ll start.
If you follow my blog then you know I’m a husband and father that is avid about bikinis and thongs. Like most teenage boys I was always interested in seeing women in their sexy underwear and swimwear. When I discovered that bikinis were available for guys, I wanted to get my hands on a pair. That finally happened in my late teens when I discovered Kmart carried guy’s bikini underwear. As soon as I learned that I was off to the store and then hurried back home to try them on. Let me tell you slipping those bikinis on for the first time was the start of my underwear obsession. I discovered thongs in college when browsing the Undergear website and that got me interested in trying a thong. Of course I eventually ordered one from them and now here I am today an addict of bikinis and thongs.
Blkmlthng: I’m a black male, 34, married to a beautiful woman and father of one son. I have been wearing thongs, bikinis and string bikini underwear off and on since 2001, during my freshman year of college before the start of my sophomore year. I started incorporating these styles of underwear in my daily wear in 2012 and haven’t looked back. Like most pre pubescent adolescent boys, I liked looking at the section of the catalogues that showed women’s underwear and have always been been interested in wearing minimal/sexy underwear that was made for men.I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s when it was almost normal to see the athletes, actor or musician/singer wearing men’s bikini or skimpier. These men weren’t viewed as gay or feminine and women wanted them and men wanted to be like them. I knew of men in my family, uncles, cousins etc that wore bikini briefs and string bikinis which was pretty normal underwear to wear during this time period. One of my uncles in particular, was in his early 20’s when I was around 12/13 and stayed with us for short period of time after getting out of the Air Force. During this time we had to share a room until he got his own place and naturally by sharing a space I saw his underwear. This is when I knew bikini briefs and string bikinis were the underwear for me. My uncle was so cool, he was masculine and had lots of different beautiful girlfriends and I wanted to be just like him and wore what he wore. He had different styles and patterns, mostly animal prints like zebra, snake and cheetah, this was intriguing to me as my dad wore those ugly brown military briefs. During this period underwear for men began to change with boxers then boxer briefs being what men were to wear. I was in high school during this period and began to wear white and plaid boxers. I did this up until halfway through my freshman year of college. During college when I was searching for underwear that provided extra support more than the boxers that I wore all throughout high school. I happend to stumble accross thongs for men while a freshman in college shopping at Target and happend to stumble across Jake Taylor thongs for men. I was intrigued and bought a pack from then on I was hooked. This discovery of thongs for men reopened the door for me to wear bikinis and string bikinis that intrigued me at 12/13 and I began to wear this style as well. I would wear them in secret and no one I dated, friends or family knew of my underwear choice. Fast forward to the present, I typically wear thongs, string bikinis, pouch briefs underwear most frequently, with wearing bikinis, boxer and trunk briefs and gstrings. I like to think of my underwear collection as a buffet that can satisfy my appetite of the day. My wife doesn’t mind me wearing them and that makes me feel good and feel as though I don’t have to do it in private. I’m looking forward to chatting with you two and engaging in some awesome and effective dialogue about bikinis and thongs! Hopefully we can inspire other straight guys like us to look at bikinis and thongs as a great option for men’s underwear.
Ron: I’m in my 50s though have aged quite well compared to my peer group. I was around in the 70s when speedos were the normal beach attire and going into the 80s when the French led the way with very brief bikinis for men and women. Married for a second time though both former and current wives dislike(d) brief underwear or swimwear for men. Current wife prefers trunks. Dislike boxers and have never worn them though will tolerate the trunks just for my wife. Normally my underwear consists of very brief HOM or Kiniki micro bikinis. I’ve had an interest in very brief wear for men and women since my teens I guess. Current wife wears thongs and g strings as underwear and micro bikinis on the beach. Being half Brasilian I have introduced her to the ‘fio dental’ bikinis and she happily wears them.
Ways to Support The Bottom Drawer by Shopping
Hi, I came across your blog searching online for a decent price for the Speedo Solar which for some reason they don’t sell in Australia (cheapest i’ve found is around $50AU which is a bit too much for me to fork out). Anyway, i’m also a straight, married guy and an exhibitionist at heart. Have always loved skimpy swimwear and underwear. I usually wear speedo style briefs when visiting the beach which my wife doesn’t mind, however she doesn’t really know I have small collection of gstring/thongs and sheer stuff. What really irks me though is that speedos aren’t really that socially acceptable in Australia even though we have a huge beach culture! Plus I’m an avid gym goer and in pretty good shape but for some reason still the odd one out at the beach or pool. And also that any type of smaller or sexier style of underwear or swimwear is marketed at the gay community (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Sigh!
The cheapest place I found surprisingly doesn’t ship to Australia. The other ones are probably about the same price as you found that I believe do ship there. I got the impression that Australia looked like it would be a good place to wear swim briefs and not be the only one. Does it just depend on the area like it is in the USA? Always good to not have a wife against your swim briefs. Makes it easier to wear them.
Yes it sometimes depend on the area, but in general it’s not a common thing, especially if you’re say, under 50ish. In most cases though i usually screw what everyone thinks and just wear them!
