Underwear and Swimwear Savings 2021

underwear swimwear savings 2021

With Black Friday and Cyber Monday fast approaching, it is a good time to try and save on some underwear. Well, at least theoretically it is supposed to be the best sales of the year. It seems Black Friday occurs many Fridays now instead of just one. Typically the best seem to still be saved for those days. Do you wait for these days to shop for underwear?

The last few years I have kind of waited until this time of year to buy. Though sometimes there are some sales prior I can’t resist. Especially, when there is a pair I really want to get before it is no longer offered. Typically, I don’t pay full price. I’ll wait for that sale.

I don’t have my eye on anything real particular this year. Last year Skinzwear had a sale on gift certificates at 25% off before Christmas. I got one which I ended up using on some sales items from them this year. That I found was a good way to get some pairs from them at a good price. Thinking I may try that one again this year.

So what is a good sale for you that you find hard to resist? Some of it may come down to the brand for what is a good sale. For me around 20-25% off is when I’ll start seeing if there is anything of interest. I do not like the up to a certain percentage off sales. They drive me crazy, since usually there’s nothing good at the larger discount. I don’t typically check those out and just move on. This year it’s going to have to be a good sale I think to get me to buy. One of the best I’ve seen from the particular seller.

Is there something you are looking to save on? As I said, not really something particular I really want right now. I wouldn’t mind finding a swim bikini brief or two that I’d feel comfortable in locally when the beaches are busy to add to my swim collection. If Skinzwear does their sale on gift certificates this year, I’ll grab one of those. Then if I see a good sale on a brand I haven’t tried then maybe that is something else I’ll pull the buy trigger on.

Are you hoping for some good sales? Eyeing a certain pair or brand hoping to grab it at a discount? Let everyone know in the comments. Feel free to share sales too.

I can’t honestly remember the last time I bought new underwear/swimwear(certainly not this year), but if I did feel the need to add to my already sizeable collection, I wouldn’t limit myself to Black Fridays etc. Finding G-strings from favourite companies such as Gregg Homme or Daniel Alexander at sale prices would probably tempt me, and I still kick myself that I didn’t stock up on the Gregg Homme Commando G-string before it was discontinued, but I don’t make a point of looking during these over hyped special days.
I probably should rotate the ones I wear more often because I tend to wear the same half dozen or so in a cycle of wear, wash, wear etc because it’s easier to take one off the clothes horse rather than search through a drawer. I’m sure the next time I reorganize my undies, I will find some gems that I’ve forgotten about and give them a spin.

The past couple days the in box has certainly has had alot of swimwear/ underwear specials which is always awesome. Though with many of these companies sending out offers through out the year , I find I don’t order as much I used to on Black Friday/ Cyber Monday .I did happen to order from Mensuas and Mutiny Swimwear . Thats a great idea T , I seem to grab what ever pair is on top drawer.

I’ve seen lots of deals coming through too, but still haven’t found a deal at least with items that I really want as of yet.

After a couple years of not buying new underwear I decided to check out a few places and ended up buying 30 string bikinis at jockey 40% off and bought 4 clearance bikini briefs for 16 at Macy’s.

I decided this year has been rough and I would treat myself to some new undies and I set a limit on how much I would allow myself to spend. I got a good deal on JM Skinz thongs that were 30% off. I also got 30% off from Carl Wesley. He has a blue retro string bikini that reminded me of some string bikinis I had 20 years ago. I was fortunate that it was on clearance plus the 30% off.
I personally dislike that so many underwear brands only have sales on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, I understand they need to make a profit to survive but if they can offer such deep discounts one/two days a year why not offer smaller mid-year sales to boost their sales then.

Yes, you deserve to treat yourself. Both of those are good sales. If the Carl Wesley electric python thong was out that we gave away I would have grabbed it! Even some of the brands that only seem to do the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales don’t offer really that good of a sale.

I tend to get what I need when I need it, so keep a look-out for all sales. I don’t make a special effort just for Black Friday sales, since there is no guarantee that what I’m looking for is available then.

Shock! Horror! T has finally ordered some new undies for the first time in I don’t know how long(lol). It came about when I saw a guy on Instagram posting pics of himself wearing jockstraps with the logo BOX on them. I commented saying I wasn’t a fan of large waistbands, but being mainly a wearer of G-strings, that wasn’t an issue. He replied saying BOX now sold G-strings, which was a style I didn’t associate with them. When I went on their website, I discover they only had the one G-string pictured, but it was a little black semi transparent number which was reduced from £20 to £5 in their sale. Needless to say I was hooked and have ordered 4 of them(lol).
Now I know strings are not for everyone, but the main reason I’m writing this it to let you all know that their website is full of thongs, bikinis, jockstraps and swimwear at greatly reduced prices, as well as leggings, joggers etc. I definitely think they are worth checking out and I’m sure you’d come away with a bargain or two!

    • The Bottom Drawer says:

Did you order 4 before you tried them? What’s your thoughts on them? Still says black Friday sale on their stuff. Is it a year end sale, clear out inventory sales, going out of business sale?

      • T says:

Hi Nate. At the time of writing this, I haven’t received an email saying that my order has been despatched, although they do say on their webpage that you should allow up to 5 days due to the whole Black Friday situation. Hopefully I will have them by the weekend or early next week and will give you my verdict.
I decided to order four at once rather than one or two to try beforehand because, knowing my luck, if I really liked them, they would probably have sold out before I had the chance to reorder, and at that price it’s not too much of a hit if I don’t like them. I will be interested to see if they continue to be listed at full price once the sale is over.

Hi Nate. Quick update on my recent undies order. Was just about to go in the shower this morning when I heard what sounded like a delivery going through my letterbox. Headed downstairs and was shocked to see a large rectangular parcel sticking out of said letterbox. My first thought was why would 4 G-strings be in such a large parcel? On opening the sealed wrapping, I discover a very plush looking box with the company’s logo embossed in gold leaf on the lid. Still didn’t understand why such a large box was necessary, until I opened it and saw what I initially thought was a plush catalogue, but turned out to be a 2022 calendar full of buff guys in their Box undies and swimwear. The G-strings were individually wrapped, but my heart sank when I opened the first one. Unfortunately, the pouch was not the plain transparent look that it appeared to be on the website, but had in fact flowery embroidery that made it look far too feminine for my liking. I did try one on, and it was a good fit, although the large label was right at the point where the under string meets the thin waistband, so that would have to be removed. Other than the flowery design, they would have been a sexy addition to my string collection, but I’m not likely to wear them, which is a disappointment, but at least I didn’t shell out full price for them.

N2N typically has a big end of summer sale and smaller seasonal sales. Some sizes sell out but they give pretty good discounts. One of my favourite brands.
