My Top 10 Undies for 2024
I decided to do a top 10 list of pairs I feel I pulled out of the drawer often in 2024. In the past I did top 5 bikinis and then top 5 thongs. Since my percentage of wearing each style wasn’t really at the 50/50 point in 2024, I thought one list would be a better idea. Might not necessarily be in order of the ones I wore the most, but probably not far off.
10. Cheeky Pairs
Starting out in the 10 spot are cheeky pairs in general. I’ve found it fun to throw these into the mix. I’m not always a fan of how the cheeky pairs look on me. But, there is just something about the feel of a cheeky pair.
9. Body Aware Organic Cotton Thong
I often avoid cotton in my underwear. This organic cotton that Body Aware used is an awesome fabric, it is lightweight and breathes. It is super comfortable, fit is great making it a great everyday thong. You can read my review of the organic cotton thong, but it isn’t offered that I see anymore. You can check out their other offerings and use my code TBDRAWER for 10% off. Shop Body Aware
8. Cut4Men Renaissance Thong
I love the fit of this thong. Great support, comfy fabric, a solid fairly basic thong. I think it would be a great choice for active activities. Check out my review of the Renaissance Thong. Shop for it at Cut4Men.
7. Intymen Sports Thong
A great summer pair with the mesh fabric. The fabric lets the air flow to keep the heat down and allows you to breathe. I like that the pouch has elastic at the base to give you a little boost without being obnoxious. Read my review of the Sports Thong. Shop for it at Mensuas.
6. Kiniki Harry Brief/Poly Lycra Narrow Front Brief
This is a solid cut bikini. It kind of was my bikini replacement when Prevail Sport closed. The poly Lycra pair is a nice fit, but of course they stopped selling them. The Harry is nice for cooler weather with them being a cotton blend and it appears it is no longer offered either. I like the narrow pouch cut and back coverage of these.
5. Rayv50 Traditional Cut Thongs
Rayv50 introduced a new style in his thong offering that has knocked these ones down the list. These are a great traditional cut. I love the fit of them too. I find them very comfortable. I feel these give me a boost for my package too. You can find rayv50’s offering on Poshmark.
4. Tropical Thong Super Slim Extra Deep Thong
This is a fairly new thong to my collection. It is an awesome fitting thong. Holds everything snuggly in place. Comfortable front and back. It’s on my list to add more in the cut. Read my review of the Super Slim ED Thong. Shop Tropical Thongs. Keep an eye out for a 15% off sale from them if you want to give them a try.
3. Doreasnse Aire Thongs
This is a great summer thong. It’s a light fabric, but still gives good support. It’s very comfortable and you’ll forget you are wearing a thong. Check out my review of the aire thong. Shop for it on Aduace
2. Rayv50 Thin Side Thongs
This is a new cut that rayv50 just started offering somewhat recently. I love the thinner side design. I find his stuff most of the time fits really well. This style is comfortable and offers great support. I feel they help enhance what you got. Check out rayv50’s closet.
1. Prevail Sport String Brief
This is my all time favorite cut, so it is taking the number one spot. I haven’t found a bikini that has really rivaled it yet. There may be some, but I’m not paying the price for them to find out. It has the right frontal, rear, and side coverage. Offers great support along with a snug fit that isn’t smashing.
Those are the pairs I feel I pulled out most often in 2024. They’re all great pairs of underwear. Of course I have others in the drawer that are great too. Not always easy to decide the list.
Ways to Support The Bottom Drawer by Shopping
You might want to think about limiting the rotation of the Prevail Sport – it won’t last forever and I know you want it to. I do kick myself for not buying some of their styles when I had the opportunity. I think that is why now, when I see a pair I really like – as long as I can afford it – I buy them. 9 out 10 times I’ve been happy with the purchase, even if the pair isn’t worn but a few times. For example, the Christmas thongs – only get worn in December. I would say for me though, JM is my number 1 for the year. Followed by C-IN2, Bike and N2N or Daniel Alexander – it really depends on my mood.
I still have some brand new Prevail Sport waiting for me that I bought when they announced closing their doors. Should have bought more than I did, but at least I have a few!
Hi Nate!! thanks for this article as it is a good causation for all of us to think about our list..for example ,i was thinking that during 2024 i wore very much every day thongs from H.i.s and i left behind thongs from others manufacturers. Maybe i need to expand my rotation during 2025.one question..may i can assume -according to your list, where 9 out of 10 underwear are thongs, that during 2024 you moved your everyday choices to thongs, leaving briefs behind?
I didn’t leave bikini briefs behind, because I still like to throw them in the mix. I would say that I did wear thongs more often than bikinis. It was no longer 50/50 in 2024 between bikinis and thongs. When it is warmer I wear thongs most days, but when it cools off I like to throw bikinis into the rotation some. I also have more variety in thong brands and cuts than I do bikinis.
Ironic! Prevail sport was indeed my favorite! I had found kiniki and was astounded they dropped that line! Prevail should try again!
If I put together a top ten from last year it would feature some Yutata string bikinis as well as my usual g-strings. Must be getting more conservative in my old age.🤣
